The mission of Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru) is to help share the message of hope and faith across the globe. Your purchases directly support a Cru missionary who is personally known to us and who has been working for a long time to vet, train, and send a team to an unreached country in Central Asia, bordering Afghanistan. The story below highlights the importance and impact of their work:



A young woman recently put her faith in Jesus. She is the first one of her family and lives in a small rural village where there are no other believers let alone a church. This is incredible, an absolute miracle, and something to praise the Lord for, but it is also not the end of the story. In a few weeks she is going to be married off to a non-believing man, and in this culture, she will have almost no rights. Married women are often referred to as slaves to their husbands. This scenario is common among young believing women in this part of the world. Recently our team traveled to her village to spend time encouraging her with Scripture (the story of Ester) and committed to be there for her and support her in any way they can. (This included repairing part of her house) As they left her house she felt encouraged but the team couldn't help but also feel the somberness of the moment. Likewise, we all feel somber about this, but with strengthened resolve in what we do because without this team she would be alone to face this reality.
